Facebook Introduces Three New Types of Sponsored Stories

Following the introduction of Sponsored Stories a few months ago,  Facebook will be launching three new types of Sponsored Stories very soon to help marketers surface an even wider range of actions people take with Pages, Apps and websites.

In addition to Page Like, Page Post, App Share and Check-in stories, Sponsored Stories can now surface Page Post Like, App Used and Game Played and Domain stories as well.

The Page Post Like Story allows you to surface stories about fans liking any post from your client’s Page, so that the friends of your fans, even if they are not fans of the Page, can see and engage with the post.

The App Used and Game Played Story helps App and game developers increase visibility of stories about people using their Apps and playing their games.

The Domain Story allows you to give more visibility to stories about people liking or sharing content on your client’s website, so that more of their friends will visit the site and discover similar content.
